Both processes create 3D textures on stainless steel surfaces, but the difference lies in how the pattern is formed.
- Stamped stainless steel is made by pressing patterns into the sheet with high-tonnage molds — it can produce deeper, more defined designs, suitable for decorative and structural applications.
- Embossed stainless steel usually has a lighter, repeating texture for anti-fingerprint or slip-resistant purposes.
In short, stamped = stronger visual effect, while embossed = subtle texture and function.
